SCHOOL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Download “Let’s Play Golf with Dad” flier from www.golfanytime.net web site to a Microsoft Word file.
- Customize flier with appropriate information.
- Make enough copies for all children to take home to parents.
- Send flier home two weeks ahead of event.
- Have flier returned one week ahead of event.
- Collect returned fliers and determine total number of players and food requirements.
- Arrange with pizza company to deliver the correct number of pizzas according to returned sign up sheets. (2 slices of pizza and 1 soda per person) Purchase a few extra pizza’s as well.
- Arrange for the appropriate number of soda to have on hand according to Sign up sheet. Purchase a few extra sodas as well.
Provide 5 volunteers for the following activities:
- Two people to take money at check in.
- Two people to help with pizza and soda.
- One person to manage play on course.
- One person to help with the set up and take down of the course.
- (9 holes) This can be done by one of the other volunteers helping with pizza, check in or the person managing play on the course. An 18 hole set up would require 2 helpers.
ONE PUTT RESPONSIBILITIES
- One Putt provides the course, balls, putters, and scorecards.
- Set up and take down of course with help from school, as described under School Responsibilities
Set up time: (9 holes 2hrs) (18 holes 3hrs)
Take down time: (9 holes 1hr) (18 holes 1&1/2 hrs)
